Payments, refunds & disputes

How $STILL payments work with businesses in the PNS Network, in plain English.

Pricing is set in US dollars

Every service is priced in dollars. When you start a payment, the app converts that dollar amount into $STILL at the live market rate and shows you both numbers before you send anything. You are agreeing to the dollar price; the token amount is simply how you settle it.

The rate is locked for 15 minutes

Once a payment is generated, the conversion rate is held for 15 minutes. If the quote expires before you send, generate a new one — sending against an expired quote can leave the payment short.

The discount for paying in token

Paying in $STILL earns a discount off the dollar price, shown on each business's page (5% by default). The discount is applied before the conversion, so it comes off the amount you actually send.

Short payments and overpayments

If the amount that arrives is less than what was quoted, the payment is marked short paid and you can send the difference to the same address using the same Payment ID. Overpayments are credited back at the dollar value of the extra amount, either as a refund or as store credit.

Confirmation and your Payment ID

Each payment gets a Payment ID in the form PAY-XXXX-XXXX. Keep it. It is how a job is matched to a payment and how you look up status. Solana settles in seconds, but a transaction may take a moment to appear in the lookup — that is normal.

Cancellations before work starts

If you cancel before the business has scheduled or started work, the payment is refunded at the US dollar value recorded at the time you paid, not at the token price on the day of the refund.

Refunds and disputes are reviewed case by case

If something goes wrong with the work, open a support ticket with your Payment ID. Cases are reviewed individually, the same way a delivery platform handles a bad order. Depending on the outcome, you may receive a refund at the dollar value paid, partial credit, or store credit against that business.

Refunds are settled by dollar value

Because token prices move, refunds are calculated from the dollar value of the original payment. A refund may be issued in $STILL at the current rate, or as store credit, whichever is agreed in the review.

What this is not

$STILL is a community and utility asset used inside the PNS Network. Nothing on this page is investment advice, and paying with $STILL does not create an investment, security, or ownership interest of any kind.

Irreversible by nature

Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed by us once broadcast. Always confirm the receiving address and the amount in your wallet before approving. Never approve a transaction you did not start, and never share your recovery phrase.
